Anyone who has ever visited us knows: The Dünen-Therme in St. Peter-Ording is much more than just your run-of-the-mill swimming pool somewhere on the North Sea coast in Schleswig-Holstein.
The Dünen-Therme consists, on the one hand, of our leisure and adventure pool "Dünen-Therme" with a unique sauna area, thrilling slides, and the best view of St. Peter-Ording, the salt marshes, and the North Sea.
In addition, there’s the health and wellness center: Here you’ll find wellness programs, therapeutic options, as well as medical massages and treatments.
It’s the perfect place to really treat yourself—whether you’re with the whole family, as a couple, or even on your own.
Treat yourself to a special break: An exclusive sauna evening awaits you, featuring limited-edition tickets and extraordinary experiences. Look forward to special sauna infusions, singing bowls, yoga, live music by local artists, and lots of little surprises.

The Dünen-Therme, which includes a leisure and adventure pool, a sauna area, and a health and wellness center, is located in the local district "Bad" (Maleens Knoll 2, 25826 St. Peter-Ording).
You can park (for a fee) in our parking lot in front of the building or in the “Parkpalette” parking garage—just a few minutes’ walk from the Dünen-Therme.
The entrance to the leisure and adventure pool and the sauna area is located on the first floor above the National Park Center.
The entrance to the health and wellness center is to the right of the “Biomaris” store.
Dünen-Therme House and Bathing Rules
The House and Bathing Rules are designed to ensure safety, order, and cleanliness throughout the Dünen-Therme. They apply to all visitors to the Dünen-Therme. You can read through all the points in the PDF below.
Smoking is prohibited throughout the Dünen-Therme.
In addition to regular swimming hours, the Dünen-Therme also offers swim classes. Whether it’s the very first strokes for the youngest children or refining swimming technique for older kids—a variety of courses are taught here with care and patience.
