The beach area in Bad can be reached via the approximately 1,000-meter-long, wheelchair-accessible pier and is dotted with countless beach chairs. Whether you’re strolling along the beach, lounging in a beach chair, playing on the playground equipment, swimming in the North Sea, or enjoying some delicious fries—there’s something for everyone here.
Diverse Entertainment
The local district "Bad" with its approximately one-kilometer-long pier is the lively center of St. Peter-Ording. Away from the North Sea beach, the Erlebnis-Promenade invites visitors to enjoy a pleasant time, and events at the Dünen-Hus provide a variety of entertainment. Boutiques, cafés, and restaurants invite you to stroll and linger. Our Dünen-Therme promises relaxation and swimming fun in any weather.

Dog-Walking Areas in Bad
To protect the local flora and fauna and out of consideration for other guests, dogs must be kept on a leash year-round on the beaches and in town. The exception to this rule is our designated dog-running areas—there, dogs can run and play off-leash.
